Tyson Spence

How Tyson works

Every campaign starts with the audience, not the channel. Tyson digs into the data first, finds the insight worth building on, then shapes multi-channel campaigns and lifecycle content around it. The goal is always the same: strategy a team can actually run, with a result you can measure.

Tyson finished his B.A. in Strategic Communication at Ohio State in December 2025. Along the way he earned Google’s AI Professional Certificate, so AI is wired into how he researches, plans, and produces rather than bolted on after. He also presented original communication research at the Ohio Communication Association’s 87th annual conference, work that was reviewed and certified for human-subjects research.

Before that he wrote and produced content for The Lantern, Ohio State’s award-winning student news organization, where a newsroom deadline was the fastest available education in writing for an audience that owes you nothing.

Pecandy

For his senior capstone Tyson pitched and directed a five-month integrated marketing campaign for Pecandy, a luxury dessert producer.
